Something's Brewing . . .

. . . it's the QKR Stampede Autumn/Halloween Blog Hop! Welcome!! You are at your first scheduled stop from the QKR Stampede Blog. If you didn't start from there, please go there now for all the details about the prize being offered and what you have to do to be eligible to win. Go on . . . Go there now . . . I'll wait . . . You're back! That didn't take long!! I have a few projects to share with you tonight. Ready? First up, a Halloween-inspired card:
This card was created with the Trick or Treat (#12306) stamp from QKR Stampede. Isn't that little koala bear--dressed like a mummy--just the cutest?? I hope he gets lots of treats!! The first time I saw him, I knew he was going on my wish list!!  Reminds me so much of the Halloween costumes we made when we were kids--no store-bought costumes then, and I have to say the creativity was fantastic!! Next up,  Halloween treat bags.
The stamps I used for these little treat bags are Parked (#9303), R.I.P. (#12905) and Scarecrow and Jack (#18807) from QKR StampedeThese little cellophane bags are great to fill with a few goodies, and they certainly won't be the same as what anyone else in the neighborhood is handing out to the trick or treaters on Halloween night! I simply filled the bags, wrapped with ribbon (like a belly band) and attached each image. Here is a close-up of each image:

My last project for the Hop is an Autumn-themed card. This card uses the Autumn Friends (#9206) and Without You (#11803) stamps from QKR Stampede.
I thought this ragdoll image was super sweet and, paired with the sentiment, is a fantastic way to let someone know just how special they are to you. I hope you enjoyed viewing these projects as much as I did creating them.  One last thing before you go . . . you can be eligible for a $25 shopping spree at QKR Stampede simply by leaving a comment at each Design Team Member's Blog and on the QKR Stampede Blog. If you want to better your chances, follow the QKR Stampede Blog and/or become a Friend/Liker of QKR Stampede at its Facebook page. You already follow the QKR Stampede Blog and you're already a Friend of QKR Stampede on Facebook? Do you have a blog? You're in for a real treat!!!

Just a Peek . . .

. . . at another one of the projects that will be featured on tomorrow's Autumn/Halloween Blog Hop at QKR Stampede. This is one the of many ragdoll images you can find at the QKR Stampede website; the ragdoll images are just adorable!!!
The image I am featuring on this project is the Autumn Friends (#9206) stamp. One of the things I really like about the ragdoll images . . . well, the QKR Stampede images, in general, is the fact that they need to be colored. That leaves so many opportunities to change up the look of your image; you could stamp this image 50 times and color it 50 different ways for a variety of looks.

Don't forget that tomorrow, Friday, September 10, is the QKR Stampede Blog Hop. The ladies on the Design Team have been creating some wonderful projects for your inspiration and enjoyment. As usual, QKR Stampede is offering a Blog Hop prize to the Blog Hop participants. To be eligible for the prize, all you have to do is visit each Design Team Member's blog, leave a comment, then return to the QKR Stampede Blog and leave a comment there, as well. It's that simple!! If you want to better your chances of winning, become a follower of the QKR Stampede Blog, and become a Friend/Liker at the QKR Stampede Facebook page. Already a follower and a friend? If you have a blog, make mention of the QKR Stampede Blog Hop on your blog. Thanks for stopping by today and visiting. I look forward to seeing you here tomorrow for the Blog Hop! Have a GREAT day!!

Monday, September 6

It's QKR Monday . . .

I have an Autumn project to share with you today . . . and appropriately, the name of the stamp is Autumn Breeze (#8803) by QKR Stampede.
This is another of the ragdoll images offered by QKR Stampede, and she is just darling! For my layout, I used the Mojo Monday Sketch 155; but, rather than a tag, I used a flower as an embellishment. Now that we're into the month of September, that means another QKR Stampede Blog Hop. This month's Blog Hop will be this Friday, September 10, and will feature Autumn/Halloween projects! Here is a sneak peek at one of my Blog Hop projects:
Be sure to visit the QKR Stampede Blog this week for other sneak peeks and further announcements with respect to the Blog Hop. Make sure you check out the Fall-themed images at QKR Stampede! You won't be disappointed, and you just might see one of your favorite images featured in the Blog Hop.
